Villa Emily is situated in a cliff-top tourist resort, Cala’n Porter, on the south coast of the island and only a 10 minute drive from the airport. The town is ideal for families, with a variety of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and souvenir shops, all within walking distance from the property. The wonderful beach with crystal clear waters can be accessed via road or steps and also offers two beach bars serving local tapas and sangria. Other south coast beaches (Binibeca, Punta Prima, Binisafúa, Son Bou) can be reached in less than 15 minutes by car, and the capital town Mahon is also only a 10 minute drive away. Car hire is available from the resort and a daily bus service runs between Calan Porter and Mahon during the summer months.
The villa offers a number of areas for relaxing in the sun or shade. The private swimming pool is surrounded by a spacious sun bathing terrace, which continues to a second terrace furnished with table and chairs and a stone barbecue for al fresco dining. Connected to the lounge is a covered porch from which beautiful sunset views can be enjoyed every evening. The porch is gated for child safety.
The interior of the villa has been completely refurbished, yet maintains the traditional Menorcan architecture. All rooms are distributed over one floor:
