Villa Dos Palmeras is situated in a cliff-top tourist resort, Cala’n Porter, on the south coast of the island and only a 10 minute drive from the airport. The town has everything within walking distance, with a variety of bars, restaurants, supermarkets and souvenir shops. The wonderful beach with crystal clear waters can be accessed via road or steps and offers two beach bars serving local tapas and beverages. Other south coast beaches (Binibeca, Punta Prima, Binisafúa, Son Bou) can be reached within 15 minutes by car, and the capital town Mahon is also only a 10 minute drive away. Car hire is available from the resort and a daily bus service runs between Cala'n Porter and Mahon during the summer months.
The villa is located on a quiet street backed by open countryside. At the front of the property is a pretty garden with indigenous plants and flowers and a private swimming pool (8m x 4m) surrounded by a sunbathing terrace. There are two areas for al fresco dining, the first a covered porch next to the pool, and the second an elevated terrace on the east façade with a parasol for shade and a stone barbecue for outdoor cooking. Both areas are furnished with a table and chairs.
The villa has been tastefully decorated and is well equipped to ensure a comfortable stay. All rooms are distributed on the ground floor.
Ground Floor: Lounge/dining room with direct access to pool terrace, kitchen with access to barbecue terrace, 2 twin bedrooms with floor fans, and 1 shower room.
First Floor: Accessed via internal steps from the lounge is a roof terrace from which wonderful sunset views can be enjoyed.
